1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the All In One Painting website and any painting services you hire us to perform. By submitting a quote request, signing an estimate, hiring our team, or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. Specific project agreements signed at the time of booking will set out the scope and price of your job and will take precedence over these general terms where they conflict.
2. Description of Services
All In One Painting provides professional painting services in North Bay, Ottawa, and surrounding communities in Ontario. Our services include:
- Cabinet refinishing using a fully sealed spray booth built on-site inside the client's home, finished in Renner 2K and Envirolak 2K commercial-grade coatings.
- Cabinet painting for landlords, flippers, and pre-listing refresh work.
- Interior painting for walls, trim, ceilings, and doors.
- Exterior painting for siding, trim, and outdoor surfaces.
- Commercial painting for retail, office, and multi-unit properties.
- Property management turnover painting for landlords and managers.
- Realtor pre-sale painting for homes preparing to go to market.
- Home builder new-construction painting.
The exact scope of work, surfaces included, products, colours, and timeline for your project will be defined in your written estimate. Anything not listed in the estimate is not included.
3. Estimates and Quotes
All estimates are free of charge and provided after an in-home or on-site walk-through. We do not give blind quotes by phone or email for residential work because the prep depth required varies too much by surface and condition.
Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Pricing reflects the scope and conditions observed at the time of the estimate. If the scope changes once work begins, for example additional rooms, surfaces, repairs, or colour changes, the price will be adjusted in writing before the additional work proceeds. Hidden conditions discovered during prep, such as water damage, mould, lead paint, or significant drywall failure, may also trigger a written change order.
4. Booking and Cancellation
Projects are booked in the order written approvals are received. To hold a confirmed start date we may require a 50% deposit on projects over $5,000. Smaller projects are typically booked without a deposit.
If you need to reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice. We will do our best to find a new start date that works for both sides. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a confirmed start may result in a charge to cover crew time, lost booking, and any non-refundable materials already purchased for your project.
If we need to reschedule because of weather, illness, or another unavoidable issue, we will give you as much notice as possible and work with you to find the next available date.
5. Payment Terms
Smaller projects are typically invoiced on completion. Larger projects, generally those over $5,000, run on a 50% deposit and 50% on completion split, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept payment by e-transfer or cheque. Final payment is due on the date the project is marked complete and you have signed off on the walk-through. Late payments may be subject to interest at the rate permitted under Ontario law. HST is added where applicable and shown on every invoice.
6. Warranty
We back our work in writing. Two warranties apply, depending on the type of project:
- Cabinet refinishing: 1-year written warranty on labour and finish against chipping, peeling, and finish failure under normal residential kitchen use.
- Interior painting: 2-year workmanship warranty on prep, application, and finish on standard interior repaint projects.
Warranty coverage applies to defects in our workmanship and the products we install. It does not cover damage from impact, abrasion, abuse, water leaks, structural movement, settling cracks, or normal wear and tear. Warranty work is performed by All In One Painting at no charge during the warranty period; we ask that you contact us in writing as soon as an issue is noticed.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, All In One Painting's total liability for any single project is limited to the amount paid by the client for that project. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to walls, trim, cabinetry, floors, fixtures, or any other surface, including hairline cracks, nail pops, drywall failures, water damage, or finish defects present before our work began.
- Hidden conditions behind walls, under cabinets, or beneath existing finishes that could not reasonably be discovered during the estimate walk-through.
- Issues arising from lead paint or asbestos. If the building was built before 1990, the client is responsible for disclosing the presence or possible presence of lead-based paint or asbestos before work begins. Any testing or abatement required must be arranged by the client through a qualified specialist.
- Indirect or consequential damages such as loss of use, loss of income, or relocation costs.
If you suspect lead paint, asbestos, mould, or other regulated materials in the area to be painted, please tell us before signing the estimate. We can pause the project, recommend a qualified tester, and adjust the scope safely.
8. Insurance and WSIB
All In One Painting is fully insured and every painter on every job is WSIB covered. We can provide a certificate of insurance and a WSIB clearance letter on request, which is common for commercial projects, property managers, and condo boards. Just ask when you book and we will email both documents before the start date.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or republish any of this content without our prior written permission. 10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada that apply within Ontario. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion will be submitted to the courts of Ontario, which the parties agree have exclusive jurisdiction.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or the law. When we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the revised terms here. Continuing to use our website or services after a change has been posted means you accept the updated terms.
