WSIB · Fully Insured · Spec-Sheet Ready

Home builders working with All In One Painting get trade-slot reliability, architect spec-sheet compliance, and per-square-foot pricing on whole-house new construction interiors across North Bay and Ottawa. A typical 2,000 to 2,800 square foot single-family build runs between $7,000 and $15,000 for primer plus two finish coats on walls, trim, and doors. Cabinet pre-installation spray adds $2,500 to $6,000 per kitchen. Exterior body and trim on a new build runs $3,500 to $12,000. Close-out walkthrough touch-ups are built into every scope. WSIB clearance and commercial liability insurance documentation go to your builder office before day one on site.

Most builders reach out for one of two reasons. The painter they used last build did not slot into the trades sequence, which pushed flooring and trim back a week. Or the architect's spec was loose, the painter substituted a cheaper line, and the homeowner noticed at the walkthrough. Both are scheduling and procurement problems, and we treat them that way. Five business days of notice lock a trade slot. We order the architect's exact Benjamin Moore codes or Dulux equivalents in the spec'd volumes, so paint is on the lot the day primer goes up. A 2,400 sqft interior takes three to five working days on site.

Standard interior scope is primer on raw drywall once the drywaller's final tape inspection clears, two coats walls, trim, doors, and jambs. Wall product defaults to Benjamin Moore Regal Select or ben Interior, trim to Benjamin Moore Advance or Dulux Diamond Semi-Gloss. If the design package specifies a different line we work off the spec as written. No silent substitutions. Per-sqft pricing runs $3.50 to $5.50 all-in. Cabinet pre-installation spray runs $2,500 to $6,000 per kitchen. Exterior is quoted separately. Commercial and multi-unit builders welcome on the same terms.

Why builders choose us

Four things that matter on a build site.

Builders don't shop painters on price alone. They shop on whether the painter shows up on schedule, paints exactly what the architect drew, and stays insured.

Trade-slot reliability

Five business days of notice locks the slot. We arrive the day the drywaller wraps and finish before the flooring crew starts. Schedule slip on us is a written refund event.

Spec sheet compliance

We work off your architect's spec line by line. Benjamin Moore codes, Dulux equivalents, sheen call-outs, accent walls, ceiling products. No silent substitutions.

Per-sqft pricing on volume

$3.50 to $5.50 per sqft for whole-house interior. Per-build quoting on volume programs. Quarterly slot allocations for builders running multiple lots in a season.

WSIB + insurance ready

Current WSIB clearance and commercial general liability COI delivered to your builder office before day one on site. Both stay on file for your warranty program records.

What we paint on new builds

The new-construction process

Six steps from spec to close-out.

Predictable enough that builders can plan flooring, trim, and final cleaning around our window.

  1. 1

    Spec review & quote Pre-build

You send the architect's spec sheet. We review line by line, confirm every Benjamin Moore code or Dulux equivalent is currently available, and return a per-build or per-sqft quote within two business days.

  2. 2

    Trade-slot booking 5+ days out

Slot locked in writing, with start date keyed off the drywaller's final tape inspection and end date keyed off the flooring crew's confirmed start. Spec products ordered in the volumes the build requires.

  3. 3

Primer & caulk on raw drywall Day 1

Site protection laid. Primer sprayed on every wall and ceiling. Caulking on every trim joint and corner. End-of-day photo log to the builder.

  4. 4

Two finish coats walls Day 2-3

Wall product per the spec, sprayed or rolled per builder preference. Accent walls and feature ceilings flagged in the spec get their own pass.

  5. 5

    Trim & doors Day 3-4

Baseboards, casing, crown, doors, and jambs sprayed or hand-applied per the spec. Two coats minimum on every surface. Coordinated with the trim carpenter's final install.

  6. 6

    Close-out walkthrough & touch-ups Post-trades

Once trades are off the lot we walk the build, flag every touch-up point with painter's tape, return inside 24 to 48 hours, and leave a labelled kit with the spec's paint codes.

Builder FAQ

Five questions builders ask on every quote.

If your question is not here, call (705) 482-1039 or (613) 686-6835.

Can you work from our architect's paint spec sheet?

Yes. Send the spec with the original Benjamin Moore product codes or Dulux equivalents and we work directly off it. Wall colour, ceiling product, trim sheen, primer call-out, accent walls, and feature ceilings tracked room by room. If a code is discontinued we flag it in writing and propose an exact-match equivalent for designer approval.

How far in advance do builders need to book a trade slot?

Five business days notice locks a trade slot on a single-family build. That window lets us order the right primer and finish coats and coordinate around your drywaller's final tape inspection and the flooring crew's start. Builders running multiple lots get quarterly slot allocations.

What's your per-square-foot pricing for whole-house interior?

Per-square-foot interior runs $3.50 to $5.50, all-in, for primer on raw drywall plus two coats walls, two coats trim, two coats doors. A 2,000 square foot build comes in at $7,000 to $11,000. A 2,800 square foot build runs $10,000 to $15,000. Add cabinet pre-installation spray and the package lands at $10,000 to $22,000. Exterior quoted separately.

Do you handle the close-out walkthrough touch-ups?

Yes. Close-out touch-ups are included in every scope, not invoiced as an extra. Once trades are off the lot, you or the homeowner walk the house with painter's tape and flag every nail pop, scuff, drywall hairline, and trade ding. We are back inside 24 to 48 hours and leave a labelled touch-up kit with the spec's paint codes for year-one move-in scuffs.

Do you have WSIB clearance and proof of insurance for our records?

Yes. Active WSIB clearance on every crew member and full commercial general liability insurance. WSIB clearance certificate and COI to your office before day one and kept on file for your builder records. If you need named insured language, COI minimums, or vendor onboarding forms returned, send the requirements and we have them back the same day.
